Legendary Pop duo and Africa’s greatest modern music export P-Square, along with Nigerian Highlife veteran and award winning multi-platinum selling artist Flavour N’Abania and one of Ghana’s biggest artist aka Dancehall King Shatta Wale, will be performing live at the renowned Wembley Arena in London on March 28 at Dance Afrique London, presented by Solution Media and InfoTech, in association with Lebara Mobile.
Poised to be one of the biggest and best African concerts London has ever seen, Solution Media and InfoTech have put together one of the most sought after concert headliners in recent times. Not only are the legends that are P-Square, who released their sixth studio album Double Trouble last year to critically acclaim, with smash hits such as “Collabo” and “Shekini”, as well as international collaborations with T.I, Jermaine Jackson and Awilo Longomba, ready to rock the stage in their anticipated return to London.
Highlife star Flavour N’abania, who reportedly sold one million copies of his latest album Thankful in only five days, and counts MTV Africa Music Award and Channel O Music Video Award wins as only some of his many accolades, is also revved up to deliver one of the best concert experiences that London Afrobeats lovers and revellers have ever seen, with massive hits under his belt including “Nwa Baby”, “Ada Ada” and most recently “Gollibe”.
On top of these two, Solution Media and InfoTech have also heard the clamour from UK Afrobeats fans, and are bringing back the Dancehall King himself Shatta Wale to headline what is arguably his biggest London concert ever. The 2014 Ghana Music Awards ‘Artist of the Year’ and Nigerian Entertainment Awards ‘African Artist of the Year’ is certainly a force to be reckoned with, among Africa’s elite artists, with hits such as “Everybody Like My Ting”, “Dancehall King” and “Ina The Party”.
As if all these were not enough, for the first time ever in the UK, BBC 1Xtra’s DJ Edu and Capital Xtra’s DJ Abrantee are joining forces on the night for Dance Afrique London as the official concert DJs, to provide teeming fans and audiences with their favourite Afrobeats hits all through the night. Also added to the line-up are MOBO Award nominee Mista Silva, Island Records signee Moelogo and super producer Silvastone among others.
Bringing all this and more together are award-winning comedian Eddie Kadi and veteran actress Funke Akindele, who will be serving as the hosts with the most for Dance Afrique London – this is a concert experience not to be missed! Purchase your advanced tickets here.
