New Jersey-born singer-songwriter FLETCHER performed her first-ever London show on Wednesday, September 18th. The show was upgraded from the Courtyard Theater to The Garage in Highbury & Islington after the original venue sold out in seconds. Just the night before she was on stage at West London’s Shepherds Bush Empire to perform her single, “Undrunk”, alongside Julia Michaels.
FLETCHER appeared just as excited as the audience to be playing in London. Bras and underwear were thrown on stage throughout the hour-long set as she powered through songs from her two EPs, you ruined new york for me, and Finding Fletcher.
For the last song, she edged towards the crowd, climbed on the barrier to jump in the audience to join them on the dancefloor (she had joked earlier in the set about it being to soon in her career to crowd surf). It was a performance to shake the blues of personas past away for the London audience. Our photographer Robert Alleyne was there to capture the sights.
