Griff graced the legendary Alexandra Palace on Wednesday evening for the last stop of her ‘Vertigo’ tour. The room was packed with dedicated fans who sang along to every word.
The stage was beautifully decorated with a large, white staircase, which accompanied the beautiful white dress that she was wearing. Griff has been absolutely smashing it out of the park in recent months.
She has opened for Sabrina Carpenter and Taylor Swift in the UK and the US, has had immense success with the release of her album Vertigo and has also had an unreleased demo, “Last Night’s Mascara”, go viral on TikTok. Her stunning vocals, signature style and beaming personality shows she has all the qualities of a star, and her show at Alexandra Palace solidified that even further.
The stage was huge and had a catwalk leading out into the middle of the standing pit, with her ‘Vertigo’ logo at the bottom featured throughout the album artwork and in her hairstyle. This allowed Griff to interact with fans closely which was beautiful to see.
Although fans knew the show would be great, one thing they didn’t expect was a surprise guest who came out to perform alongside Griff: Holly Humberstone. Two absolute powerhouse pop stars performing together on such a perfect night was just the cherry on top.
Griff has proven throughout so many of her performances, whether she is opening or headlining, that she is a phenomenal performer who just keeps getting better. Her performance at the iconic Alexandra Palace is just the beginning, and we can’t wait to see what’s next in store for her.
