Leigh-Anne Pinnock, known for being a member in the successful girl group, Little Mix, took her solo material on the road as part of her ‘No Hard Feelings’ tour in the autumn of last year, and captivated the audience at the O2 Institute in Birmingham in October 2024 with her undeniable stage presence, catchy songs and appreciation for being in front of her adoring fans once again.
As the lights went down, the room filled with cheers from around the room. The excitement was evident. Phones were held up ready to capture the moment Leigh-Anne took to the stage. With a setlist mixed with solo material including “Anticipation”, “Nature” and “My Love”. She also threw in a few covers, “Paint the Town Red” by Doja Cat being just one. The mix created a balance that appealed to both fans of her solo music and longtime supporters.
Crowd interaction was a big part of the show, allowing for the show to be even more intimate. Her fans have played a large role in her success over the years, and till this very day that still remains. Their support didn’t go unnoticed. Her interactions demonstrated her authenticity and her determination to connect on a deeper level.
A standout moment of the night was when Leigh-Anne performed a medley of Little Mix songs featuring “Think About Us”, “Woman Like Me”, “Confetti” and “Sweet Melody”. This added a sense of familiarity for her fans.
Her performance was filled by energetic dance routines, from herself and her talented dancers. From the very start, her natural stage presence and dedication was visually engaging to anyone who was lucky enough to witness this show. Fans praised her ability to effortlessly transition between emotional ballads and high-energy tracks, highlighting her versatility as a performer.
Ending the evening with track “My Love”, the crowd sang back every word with her. Smiles beamed on the faces of everyone in the audience, as well as everyone on stage. Leigh-Anne was born to be up on stage and having the ability to sell out a number of dates on this UK run proves just that.
Beyond the music, Leigh-Anne’s openness about her personal journey added an emotional layer to the night. With her undeniable talent and stage presence, Leigh-Anne proved that her solo career is just the beginning. This performance solidified Leigh-Anne as not just a member of Little Mix but as a rising solo star with the ability to command the stage and captivate audiences on her own.
